Carnage was such an amazing book. It was both hot, heartbreaking, intense and an emotional roller coaster. I gasped, I cried, I OMG’d and smirked/screeched with excitement & cried again. Saint is such an intense, broody, secretly emotional and SEXY “character”. Ashtyn despite being emotionally traumatized and mentally degraded is such a strong and beautiful person. She went through it, trusted & loved Saint. Willingly submitted to him, while things were rough for them for a time as a “couple” … they got through it. After esentially reuniting shit got ROUGH & for some people what happened and went on may be hard for them to read and get through which is why I URGE to read the trigger warnings beforehand as @shanteltessier states as well. Terrible of me to say I loved reading the hard and traumatic parts because it made it so much more beautiful seeing how Ashtyn overcame them, but also saw even more just how much Saint loves her and would do absolutely anything to protect her. While Kashton & Haydin may love her diffrently they would go to the same lengths. I loved the twist & turns Carnage has and while I have loved beyond words every single LORDS book Shantel has written.. this one is by far my favorite. I thought I loved Ryat but Saint takes the CAKE 🎂🔥🤤🥵
